The bar, and the line under it
Open SQUAD and the right-hand column starts with a card headed SYNERGY: a flame icon, the word, a green bar, and the percentage on the right. The line under the bar is the part that pays, and it reads +X% TO ALL STATS. Below that sit TEAM POWER and a PLAYERS count, which is 6/6 when every slot is filled.
Two frames from one recording uploaded on 2 November 2026 show both numbers together. A squad of six cards carrying the Spain flag printed 100% with +15% TO ALL STATS and TEAM POWER 104. After AUTO FILL replaced one Spanish defender with R. Morel, a 67-rated card carrying the France flag, the same panel printed 83% with +12.5% TO ALL STATS and TEAM POWER 98.
| What the squad screen prints | What it means |
|---|---|
SYNERGY and a percentage | How full the bar is. It is squad-wide, not per card. |
+X% TO ALL STATS | The bonus the game pays for that percentage. This is the number worth comparing. |
TEAM POWER | The squad's own rating. It moves when the cards change, so read it beside the bonus, not instead of it. |
PLAYERS 6/6 | Slots filled. Every reading on this page was taken at six of six. |
The percentage and the bonus are separate readings. A squad at 100% is not 15% better than a squad at 0%; it is 15 points of every stat better than the same cards with no synergy, which is why the number is worth reading before you decide a card is too low-rated to field.
Six readings, and the rate the game prints
Every row below is a frame we took ourselves, with the date the recording was uploaded. Two of the six have a bonus line too small to read at the resolution we downloaded, and they are marked that way rather than filled in.
| Recording uploaded | SYNERGY | Bonus line, as printed | TEAM POWER |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 October 2026 | 10% | +1.5% TO ALL STATS | 57 |
| 30 October 2026 | 20% | +3% TO ALL STATS | 65 |
| 27 October 2026 | 63% | not read — font about six pixels tall | 86 |
| 27 October 2026 | 70% | not read | 86 |
| 2 November 2026 | 83% | +12.5% TO ALL STATS | 98 |
| 2 November 2026 | 100% | +15% TO ALL STATS | 104 |
The four readings with both numbers visible line up on one rate: 10% to +1.5%, 20% to +3%, 83% to +12.5%, 100% to +15%. That is 1.5 points of all-stats bonus for every 10 points of synergy, and the game is the one printing it. Reach 100% and you are getting +15% to every stat on the pitch.
The 27 October rows are in the table because the percentages are real readings and they show how fast the bar moves. They are not evidence for the rate: the bonus line in that file is unreadable, so we publish no figure for it.
What moves the bar: the flag, one card at a time
Two clubs, two ways of moving the same number, and in both the thing that changed was the players.
In the 27 October club the formation stayed on 2-3 across all three readings. Two cards in the middle of the pitch were replaced, and the bar went 63%, 70%, 83%. The three cards in the top row of that squad carried the same green, yellow and red flag from the first frame to the last.
In the 2 November club the movement ran the other way. Six cards on one flag printed 100%. The player set the shape to 3-2 and pressed AUTO FILL, the game brought in R. Morel on the France flag, and the panel answered 83% before a ball was kicked.
So the rule the panel shows you is a flag rule: cards that share a flag add to the bar, and a card that does not share it takes some away. The bar is recalculated on the squad screen as soon as the swap is made, which means you can test a signing against your own squad before you spend anything.
Check the 27 October readings yourself
They are in a 2 minute 14 second recording uploaded on 27 October 2026. The squad screen opens at 0:03 on 63%; the first swap lands at about 1:44 and the bar reads 70%; the second lands at about 1:48 and it reads 83%. The formation control stays on 2-3 throughout, and the bonus line under the bar is too small to read in the file we have.
Why 83% is not a formula you can compute
It is tempting to read the bar as the share of your squad on one flag, and the 2 November readings fit that idea: six of six on one flag gave 100%, five of six gave 83%. The 27 October club breaks it. With three matching cards on the pitch the bar read 63%, not 50%, and adding a fourth made 70%, not 67%.
That gap is why this page gives you no formula. Whatever else the bar counts, it is not only the number of flags, and the two clubs sit on two different builds: the game shipped its 31 October 2026 update between them, so a rate read on one build is not a promise about the next. If you need the number for your squad, read it off your own screen after each swap instead of working it out on paper.
The trade: rating against the all-stats bonus
The 27 October club is the useful example, because the player kept downgrading the card to upgrade the bar. Both cards that went out were 79-rated defenders; a 75 came in first, then a 74. Synergy climbed from 63% to 70% to 83% and TEAM POWER moved 86, 86, 87.
Five rating points given up on the card you field cost that squad nothing measurable, and the bonus went up two steps. That is the decision in front of you every time you open the market: whether the flag you need is worth more than the rating you give up.
- Read your current percentage, its bonus line and TEAM POWER. Write the three down.
- Open the market, search the country whose flag your squad already leans on, and filter by the position you want to replace. The community grid draws each listing's country, so you can see what you are buying before you open it.
- Buy or borrow one candidate, swap it in on the squad screen, and read the same three numbers again.
- Keep the swap only if the bonus gain outweighs the rating you dropped, and undo it if TEAM POWER falls. The game recalculates the bar both ways.
The bar tells you what the game will add to your stats. It does not tell you whether you will win: we did not play a controlled match with each setup, so nothing on this page is a win rate. The market page covers the tabs, the country search and the 30% cut; the card page covers the five stats the bonus is applied to; and the formations guide covers the four shape controls this page deliberately left alone.
Check the 2 November readings yourself
They are in an 18 minute recording uploaded on 2 November 2026. The squad screen opens at 0:30 on 100% with +15% TO ALL STATS and six Spain flags; at 9:33 the player switches the shape to 3-2 and presses AUTO FILL, and from about 10:00 the panel reads 83% with +12.5%, with R. Morel's France flag on the pitch.
What we could not verify
Four things are open, and each one changes what a squad is worth:
- Whether the bench counts. Every reading on this page was taken at
6/6with no substitution in progress. No frame shows the bar moving because of a card on the bench. - Whether league or club counts as well as country. The market filters on country and the swaps we read moved the bar, but no frame isolates a shared league or a shared former club.
- What the 27 October build paid. Its bonus line is about six pixels tall in the 640-wide file we have. The rate above comes from the 30 October and 2 November readings instead.
- Whether the bonus lands in the match engine exactly as printed. The panel states +15% to all stats at 100%; we read the panel, not the simulation behind it.
One more caveat belongs here rather than in a footnote: two of our four rate readings come from one club that we watched for a single recording. If the rate moves again with a future update, the panel on your own screen is the authority, and the date on this page tells you how old our version is.
