Reading a card: the numbers behind your lineup

Checked

A card shows one headline number and five numbers underneath it. The headline is the summary; the five decide whether that summary is useful in the slot you need. Two cards with the same overall are not interchangeable, and the position printed on the card is what the game uses to place it.

What is printed on a card

A rare attacker card in the CARDS screen, showing overall 77, the five stats, the IN SQUAD badge and the quick-sell value

The captured CARDS screen: overall and position top-left, SPD/SHO/PAS/DEF/GK on the right, rarity under the name, and QUICK SELL on the detail panel.

Everything below comes from a captured screen: a RARE attacker with 77 overall.

Position on the card Example value What it tells you
Overall 77 The card's headline rating
Position badge ATK Which slot the card fills
Flag Nigeria The card's country
SPD 81 Speed attribute
SHO 72 Shooting attribute
PAS 79 Passing attribute
DEF 45 Defending attribute
GK 12 Goalkeeping attribute
Rarity label RARE How the card was obtained and priced
IN SQUAD badge shown The card is currently in your lineup
QUICK-SELL value about 7.6K Coins if you sell it to the game right now

The five stats and where they matter

  • SPD — how fast the card moves. Useful everywhere, decisive on the wings.
  • SHO — finishing. This is the stat that turns a chance into a goal.
  • PAS — distribution. A high passing card keeps the ball moving instead of losing it.
  • DEF — tackling and blocking. A defender with low DEF is a hole in the shape.
  • GK — goalkeeping only. It is near zero on outfield cards.

The captured attacker had DEF 45 and GK 12: a specialist. A captured goalkeeper card, by contrast, showed GK as its strongest number. Comparing the two on overall alone would tell you nothing about which one to field.

We do not publish a weighting formula for overall. The game does not show one, and reverse-engineering it from a handful of cards would be guesswork.

Rarity: what is confirmed and what is not

The official description says packs collect players "from common to legendary". Community listings displayed RARE cards and, at the top of the market, gold ICON cards rated 90 to 97.

A "Shine" tier appears in community videos about this game. We have not confirmed it in an official source or captured the label on a card, so treat it as unverified: it may be a rarity above legendary, or a separate cosmetic tier. It is not a reason to pay more until you see it on a listing.

What we can say: rarity correlates with price in the market, because ICON cards sit far above rare cards. What we cannot say is that rarity correlates with usefulness in a five-a-side match.

The detail panel

Selecting a card opens a panel with its match record: matches, goals, assists, average rating and MVP count, plus the nationality and the MAX field.

Average rating is the most underused number on the screen. Two cards both rated 77 — one averaging 7.7 across 21 matches, one averaging 6.4 — are not the same card in practice. If you are choosing between two similar cards, look at average rating before overall.

MAX ???

The field displayed ??? on every captured card. That is a placeholder, not a value: the potential is not revealed to the player at that point.

The official description promises that training unlocks potential, so the field likely fills in as the card develops. We have not captured a card mid-training or after a completed training session, so this page will not claim a number or a formula. The training guide covers the mechanics we can verify.

Worked example: two cards rated 66

You need one more defender and you own two cards rated 66.

Card Position SPD DEF GK Where it can play
Card A ATK 71 25 12 Forward slot only
Card B DEF 54 68 21 Defender slot only

Pick Card B for the empty defender slot even though the overall is identical. Card A's DEF 25 in a defensive slot is the same as playing with ten players — the headline number lied about the job.

Collection limits and quick sell

The CARDS screen showed a capacity of 7 / 50 in the captured session: fifty cards is the ceiling, and the counter tells you how close you are.

When the collection fills up, something has to go. QUICK SELL on the detail panel pays immediately and cannot be undone; the captured card offered about 7.6K. That number moves with the card, so read it on the card in front of you rather than assuming it for a rarity.

Before selling, check the market page for what the same position lists at — a quick sale on a card that would fetch more on the community market is a straight loss, even before the 30% tax.
