Be a Soccer Manager Companion

Be a Soccer Manager Companion

This companion does two things the game leaves you to work out yourself: what a sale actually pays after the 30% market tax, and how many wins separate your fan count from the tournament gate. Both calculators run on numbers captured from the game, and both say when a number is an observation rather than a rule.

Core loop

What the companion is for

The game makes you do two sums in your head: what a sale is really worth, and how far the next gate is. These two calculators do them.

  1. Field a squad

Pick a formation and the players who fill it. AUTO FILL fills the slots, but you still check that no position is empty.

    Formations
  2. Play the match

Matches run live on your pitch with commentary, slow-motion chances and replays you can skip.

    Your first match
  3. Collect coins and fans

Wins pay coins and add fans. Daily quests pay separately for wins and goals.

    where your coins come from
  4. Spend on the gap

Buy the position you are missing, or train a starter once someone can cover the position while it trains.

Walkthrough

Your first hour, in order

Four moves take you from a new club to a squad you can keep improving.

Start your first club
  1. Claim before you spend

Open the group reward panel and claim if you qualify; redeem KICKOFF and WELCOME in the Shop.

    Start your first club
  2. Fill five slots

Open SQUAD, pick a formation, run AUTO FILL, then check each position by hand.

    Formations
  3. Play one full match

The match is live; use the replays to learn which of your cards actually does the work.

    Your first match
  4. Buy the missing position

Go to MARKET, filter by the position you lack, and compare price against the 30% tax you would pay to resell.

  5. Train only with cover

Training takes the player out of the squad, so confirm a replacement before you start.

Walkthrough

Check the cover before you train a starter

Training removes a player from the squad for the duration, so the position has to be filled by someone else first.

Training guide
  1. Count the cards per position

Open SQUAD and look at all five slots: a position with one card has no cover.

    Formations
  2. Train only the covered positions

In a recorded session the usual goalkeeper and striker were unavailable while training, and a replacement goalkeeper had to be bought before the next match.

    Training guide
  3. Read the cost before you commit

The training screen shows the stat, the cost, the time and the effect. If any of them is unclear, wait.

How many wins until the tournament gate

Enter your fan count and the gate; the tracker divides by the observed fans per win and tells you how many matches are left.

fan tracker
  1. Read your fan count

The counter sits next to the club badge. One captured session showed 183 FANS with the AMATEUR rank.

    fan tracker
  2. Divide by fans per win

A captured win added about 31 fans. At that rate, 200 fans is roughly seven wins from zero.

    Leagues and tournaments
  3. Leave the rest to the pitch

No purchase moves the counter. Coins go into the squad that wins the matches, not into fans.
